Shelby and Craig said their vows at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Downtown Charleston in the middle of a sunny August day. If there’s any proof that you can (and should!) do opposite of what the "industry standard” is, these two are it. Shelby and Craig got in touch with me just a few months prior to their Charleston elopement, and I had been looking forward to this wedding ever since. There is no right way to do a wedding, and if it means wrangling your family members to elope with you in the middle of August, during the hottest part of the day, you do it! Because they’ll still love you afterwards, and certainly be okay with it as long as there are drinks and food at the end of it all :) Enjoy these photos from their wedding day!
Chris and I had the privilege of sharing this incredibly fun day with Lizzy + Justin in Savannah, GA for their intimate wedding. With our shared interests in natural wine, travel and delicious food, it felt like we were hanging out with close friends :)
Their ceremony and reception were held in the upstairs room of Churchill’s Pub, in downtown Savannah. These two got to share some really special moments with their close friends and family and definitely made some hearts melt while Justin’s bff officiated the ceremony. Lizzy + Justin read super sweet handwritten vows to each other, and later invited everyone to share their first dance with them. Favorite moments that you’ll see above are Lizzy’s nervous jitters before walking down the aisle, her brothers arm in arm, and some 10/10 dance moves that came out later in the evening.
We loved getting to be a part of this day! Thank you both, xx -Lizzy + Chris
